Top pick: #3 (BILLY WIN) (3-1) - Nice debut here April 28th saw him break sharply from an inside post, reach the fron right away, set a quick pace, and weaken very late to check in 3rd of 13, beaten just over a length. Veteran Art Sherman brings him back on short notice and at the same tag and trip.
2nd pick: #13 (The Gatekeeper) (9-2) - Away slowly when debuting here on April 25th, he raced evenly while wide once in stride. Good second out barn (Mike Mitchell 23%) drops him a bit in price and gelding had a bullet 3-furlong gate drill at Santa Anita three days ago. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (My Field of Dreams) (6-1) - Away since August 1st at Del Mar, gelding ran well that day despite a slow start and he's working nicely on this strip for his return. Noted "speed" rider Marty Pedroza is aboard and this 4-year-old must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #12 (Win Machine) (12-1) - He continues to race evenly and could grab a small slice at a big price with a bit of improvement.
5th pick: #4 (Decharchy's Trieste) - Un-raced since late March of 2012, the Puype barn has him working fast for his return and he's another who could be a factor at a big price if he runs to his AM moves.
