Top pick: #6 (CAMP VICTORY) - He's always done his best work on synthetic surfaces and after returns to a "polY' for the first time since late August when he finised a stron 2nd at Del Mar in the (G1) Pat O'Brien stakes. He finished 2nd in this stakes last Memorial Day, but ws placed first following a disqualifcation. Working fast and jockey Jeff Talamo,who had other options, stays here.
2nd pick: #7 (Roman Threat) - He earned a 106 speed "figure" when winning his debut March 11th at Santa Anita, then gave the reigning sprint champ (Amazombie) all he could handle there April 7th in the (G2) Portro Grande stakes. Working very fast locally and he'll be trying a "poly" surface for the first time.
3rd pick: #8 (M One Rifle) - Speed/stalker finished a close up 3rd last Memorial Day in this stakes but has been a bit "flat" of late. Loves synthetics (16-5-5-2) and looks set for a big effort off a pair of bullet local works.
