Top pick: #8 (STRANGE LUCK) - Filly took money at the windows in her debut and ran evenly while very wide in that Oct. 8 contest at Santa Anita. Trainer Tim Yakteen has her working very fast for this attempt and jockey Marty Garcia stays put.
2nd pick: #10 (Deft Touch) - Another who ran evenly in her debut at Santa Anita and it came going "down the hill" when facing special weights. The O'Neill barn drops her down and moves her from the grass to the all-weather.
3rd pick: #9 (Sassy Brunette) - She takes the same drop as "Deft" and this daughter of Kentucky Derby winner "Big Brown" has some serious traffic issues in her only outing. Veteran Art Sherman has worked her locally a half-dozen times since early Oct. and she can factor at a big price.
