Top pick: #1 (QUALITY PLAN) (7-2) - Debuting colt is one of two entered by trainer Bob Baffert and this 3-year-old is working very fast for his first appearance. $350K son of "Elusive Quality" has the rail and could be long gone if he runs to his drills.
nd pick: #10 (Say Ow) (5-1) - Improving gelding just missed last out at Santa Anita racing at this level on the grass. Stalker ran a career best that day and is a win candidate in tghis spot.
rd pick: #6 (Okaad) (6-1) - The second of the Baffert pair, he's been freshened up since Feb. 16 and is working nicely locally for his first around two-turns, and first on a synthetic surface.
th pick: #9 (Airfoil) (4-1) - Lightly-raced son of "Bernardini" finished third last out at this level at Santa Anita on April 13th against a pretty strong field. He's worked here since and must be left in the mix.
th pick: #3 (Afflication) (6-1) - Lightly raced home-bred has some speed and is training nicely for his first since Feb. 2.
