Top pick: #7 (JUST FISHIN) (3-1) - He's finished 2nd in two straight at this level and speed/stalker comes off a career best. Much improved since moving to the grass and he gets a slight edge in a "deep" and promising field.
nd pick: #11 (Corinthian's Song) (7-2) - Grey colt has been sharp in all 4 turf races and three of those were very narrow defeats. Speed/stalker is working fast for his first since Aug 11th at Del Mar and is a strong win candidate if ready.
rd pick: #6 (Cacau) (9-2) - Colt has talent, but he's a bit on the "head strong" side and needs to settle down a bit more during the early stages. He comes off a career best and may yet prove to be a good runner.
th pick: #1 (Buckleberry Grey) (12-1) - He comes off a sharp try facing a bit weaker at Santa Anita going "down the hill" just two weeks ago. He stretches out, draws the rail, and can impact at a big price.
th pick: #8 (Unbridled Giant) (6-1) - Lightly raced, he comes off a career best when finishing 3rd at this mile distance on April 7th. Beautifully-bred, in the Baffert barn, and he appears to be the type that can "run all day". The fatser the pace, the better his chances.
