Top pick: #7 (UNO DOS ADIOS) (7-2) - I thought he looked great physically before breaking his maiden at Santa Anita April 18th and he was bet heavily that afternoon. Gelding by "City Zip" has been given six weeks to recover and is training well for his first facing winners. 3-year-old has a good chance to upset "Joelito."
2nd pick: #3 (Joelito) (9-5) - The probable favorite, he ships back from Churchill Downs where he finished 4th of 11, beaten 2 1/2 lengths in the "American" Hdcp. (G2) on the undercard of the May 3rd "Kentucky Oaks" (G1)program. In top shape, he's worked fast since returning and is an obvious strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Unbridled Giant) (4-1) - Beautifully-bred gelding tries winners after a good looking maiden win here at this mile trip April 28th. Clearly improving and 3yo by "Giant's Causeway" has been working fast for trainer Bob Baffert.
4th pick: #6 (Horizon Sky) (3-1) - Irish-bred import has finished third in all three North American starts since returning to action from almost a five month layoff on March 2nd. He enters off a career best here on May 9th and trainer Jeff Mullins will add blinkers for this assignment.
