2nd pick: #4 (Pretty Storm) (4-1) - Speedy filly chased a quick pace while racing wide and tired in the final furlong when facing a bit tougher here on Nov. 23. That was her first in a claimer, and trainer Pete Miller brings her back quickly for this. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Devil's Backbone) (5-1) - Golden Gate invader has finishhed second in his last pair there racing at this level and distance. Speedy filly breaks from the rail and should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #7 (Cheeky Stone) (15-1) - Longshot tired after racing between horses for much of her debut, and was far back of "Swiss" that afternoon. Good small barn (Dave Hoffmans) has worked her twice since and she can factor at a big price with normal second-out improvement.
