Top pick: #8 (TEN TEQUILAS) (7-2) - Improving sort rallied to finish fourth last out at Santa Anita racing for a $30K tag, and did so despite some serious traffic issues. He draws a nice outside post at this trip and can take this if he handles the "poly', which he runs on for the first time.
2nd pick: #3 (Real Deal Appeal) (3-1) - Speedy gelding takes a big drop in price and goes turf to "poly" for his third start. He should be involved in the pace from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #2 (Chico Suerte) (4-1) - Trainer John Sadler drops him to a new low and shortens him up a bit in distance for this attempt. Gelding has been racing evenly of late and the drop, combined with a recent sharp work make him a factor.
4th pick: #1 (Unusual Flash) (5-2) - Lasix is added to this second time starter who raced well while very wide when debuting here on April 28. A good second out barn (Ron Ellis 29%) is in his corner.
