Top pick: #6 (LUCAYAN) (5-2) - Long-winded type has been freshened up since late October when he was never a factor in the $1M "Canadian International" at Woodbine. French import had been getting sharp in California prior to that and should find this group more to his liking.
2nd pick: #3 (Segway) (7-2) - Lightly-raced and beautifullt bred, he's been freshened up since a good-looking win going 10-furlongs at Santa Anita in late Oct. Improving since being sent longer and gelding has the best early speed in this small field.
3rd pick: #5 (Temerine) (9-5) - He's been competitive against some very tough fields lately and is working nicely for his first since late Oct. Almost always makes a late charge and he's a win candidate at a short price.
