Top pick: #4 (LAKESIDE BRIDE) (5-2) - The probable favorite, she's finished second here in three straight, two on the "poly" and one on the grass. Stalker has faced-off against better fields than this in the past and should finally get her maiden win.
2nd pick: #7 (Hanserella) (4-1) - This is start No. 21, but she's run well in four of her five turf starts and last out finished fourth here and earned a good "figure." Stalker draws outside of the speed and should be in a good spot turning for home.
3rd pick: #2 (Heat du Jour) (4-1) - Her lack of any early speed hurts her win prospects, but she has made up considerable ground during the stretch run of her last three starts. A fast/and or contested pace would benefit her greatly.
4th pick: #6 (Gorgeous Gaga) (10-1) - Bred for the grass, she showed good early speed before tiring badly when debuting here at this level and distance on June 30th. Trainer Steve Knapp brings her back in 13 days and she could factor at a square price.
