Top pick: #1 (CHITU) (5-2) - He's one of two debuting colts from the barn of Bob Baffert (24% first out) annd this son of "Henny Hughes" has some very impressive works showing on his AM tab. Can win this if he runs to his drills.
2nd pick: #7 (The Admiral) (5-1) - The second of the Baffert pair, son of "Giant's Causeway" is also working fast and has finished just behind "Chitu" in their last pair of common drills. Colt must be considered a major player.
3rd pick: #5 (Melatonin) (3-1) - Of those that have raced, colt has by far the best form and figures. He finished third at Del Mar when debuting on Aug. 28, then ran second here Nov. 16. Speed/stalker must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Confisio) (6-1) - Colt finished a strong second when debuting in a Del Mar sprint on Aug. 17, then tired on the Santa Anita going a mile on the dirt two weeks later. On the sidelines for the past 9 weeks, he's working fast and can factor at a square price.
