Top pick: #5 (AQUA REVELATION) (5-2) - Lightly-raced colt by turf champ "English Channel" set a quick and pressured pace and held gamely to finish second here at this level going a mile on Nov. 11. Solid effort came off a 17 1/2 month layoff and he's been given a bit of time to recover. Working nicely and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Wicked Finance) (2-1) - Colt comes off a career best when he rallied strongly to miss by a "neck" here on Dec. 1. he has talent, room for upside, and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Maxx the Giant) (7-2) - He's been a maiden a long time, but has faced some tougher fields in the past and has been competitive in many. He was almost 4 back of "Finance" last out, but was racing off a seven week break. Gelding has a speed/stalking style and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Apostle Paul) (6-1) - He exits the same Nov 11th contest as both "Finance" and "Maxx" and split that pair in a fine effort. It was a career best from a "figure" stand-point, and a repeat of it makes him a threat.
