(# 3) Americanus - Cuts back to six furlongs after trying longer and tougher in his last three. Is entered for a tag in this optional claimer, and he'll be up on the pace from start to finish.

(# 6) Minister's Appeal - Claimed out of his last by Glenn Disanto from Bill Mott, he showed a new dimension by closing and getting the job done. Figure earned was good in last, and he is making his third start back. Still room for more improvement.

(# 4) Executive Search - Deep closer has developed into a reliable closer in most of his starts. The pace scenario here is questionable, so if it collapses he will be closing stoutly.
