(# 7) IMAGISTIC - Flat mile on the turf should be right up this runners alley. Filly showed some promise at two, being competitive in both starts, the second at two-turns on the inner track at Aqueduct late in the year. Sent to the sidelines by trainer Stanley Hough, she made her 2007 debut at a flat mile at Gulfstream Park, getting away slowly while positioned in the middle of the gate in large field. To her credit she went about her business winding up fourth. Sent to Keeneland she drew very wide in 8.5-furlong race on the Polytrack surface, finishing up in the 10 path, beaten by two lengths. Should be dead fit off that try, trainer adds blinkers today. Very nice work on May 7.
