(# 4) SPANKY FISCHBEIN - Trainer Pletcher needs no introduction from me to tell you he's excellent with two-year-olds. They unveiled a runner at Monmouth yesterday (New York City Girl) a Filly who won off by herself with the same work this colt has. Four furlongs on Saratoga's Training Track in 49 seconds four-fifths handily out of the gate. Maybe history repeats itself here.

(# 8) City Roar - Filly by fine win early and two-year-old sire, Carson City, has some pretty sharp works and they go back to Payson Park in Florida in early April. Clement does fine work with two-year-olds despite his reputation as a "grass" trainer.

(# 7) Unity - Trainer (Dick Dutrow) does an amazing job with first time starters in general. This ones works are very quick and has also been training for over almost two months. Mr. Prado takes the reins.
