I believe he's faster out of the gate, so that should leave the # 10 in a clear stalking position.Runner is fresh off a 2 1/2 month vacation, and that's when trainer Parisella does his best work.

(# 10) Our Top Cat - Stalker/speed type ran a big one here when coming off a six week freshening. Combined with a drop into a claimer, it almost produced win # 2. Cuts back a furlong today (7 to 6), and has a sharp half-mile work four days ago for this. The horse the top pick must deny.

(# 3) Dontess - Broke his maiden two back in start # 15. Question now becomes where he will fit in against winners. First try at this level was poor, but he had the excuse of being bumped at the start virtually eliminating his chances. Numbers prior to that effort were moving in the right direction.
