(# 2) GOLDEN ELEGANCE - Trainer Michael Gorham has shipped infrequently during the past month and has done quite well (10-2-1-2). This filly has shown a high turn of foot in a pair of straight maiden races at Delaware. Filly that won her most recent Dicey Girl looks like a horse with a big future. This runner drops into a claimer and also faces fellow New York breds for the first time. Gorham likes his shippers to go to the lead, so you know what to expect.

(# 11) Tough Aint Enough - I'm expecting this Hushion runner to run big on the drop down and on the surface switch. Broke slowly from the hedge in latest and still ran quite well. Big shot at the top spot.

(# 1) Astoria Sweetheart - She was claimed by Bob Klesaris from Tom Bush in her seasonal and three-year-old debut on May 31. Broke poorly, made an inside move around the turn and flattened late. May have needed the race badly.

(#'s 5 and 6) Agrettable and Clearly a Thrill - Lightly raced, either is eligible to improve a lot. Trainers are Bush and Galluscio respectively.
