(# 1) SOPHIE'S SPLINTER - Good debut at Saratoga from a poor post going two-turns. Took some sneaky money and ran well despite being wide the entire trip. Excellent turf drill at the Spa for this assignment, and he draws the hedge.

(# 4) Wonderous Day - Defeated the top pick in last, but he had a much better trip. Had to steady slightly into the clubhouse turn, but was clear thereafter. Hennig charge has attracted Prado and Desormeaux, so he was well-meant.

(# 2) Psychotic Summer - Two sprints, goes to the turf and does so with the addition of lasix. Big work on Sept. 5. Cornelio for Ponce. Everything looks like the "Go" day.

(# 8) Another Gulch - Ran on the dirt opening week at the Spa, and took the rest of the meet off. Working well for start number two, and Bush sends gelding by "Thunder Gulch" to the grass. Should improve.
