( # 6) UNCLE INDY - Major improvement shown in start number two, coincided with his first start on a real dirt surface and the sweeping nature of this 8.5-furlong race here at Belmont. Penna's always been superb with runners of this type. Has four listed works since the last race on May 12 - all of them excellent.

(# 1) Inquisitive - Makes first dirt start after two grass events, one in only race at two last season, the other in seasonal, and three-year-old debut on May 5. Worked very well before that race and has continued his fine AM work since.

(# 2) Joppa Flat's - Another logical selection, I think he's beatable at a short price. Has two new figure tops showing and a third is a bit unusual, and he might need it, if the top two come with their best.
