(# 4) METRO METEOR - Remember its Laudati subbing for Contessa. Lightly-raced gelding looked super in last win here at this distance on June 6. That victory produced his highest speed figure ever and when he was around that number last year he did it on a consistent basis. Effort was only his second start in seven months, so more improvement is very possible.

(# 10) Theconfidenceman - Makes his third start off a layoff. Gelding regressed a bit in the second race back being soundly defeated by the top selection. If he can break cleanly and get some position into the turn, his numbers fit with these.

(# 3) Redefined - Another who was beaten rather handily by the top pick in his last start. Horse is 5-for-10 on the Belmont turf and that represents his entire total of wins. Almost always runs well.

(# 9) Trick Meeting - Numbers are a bit lite, but he's lightly raced, working well, and still has room for a forward move. Hough barn been sending out "live" runners lately.
