(# 7) Grovesnor Square - Makes his second appearance off a December layoff, and he ran just well enough to be a factor against these with a minimal move forward. Raced well against better last season and he is a factor in this contest.

(# 9) Solewisher - Amazingly has been the favorite in five of his last seven, winning only one. He is coming off a seven-week freshening, and fits snuggly at this claiming price. Post may be to his advantage especially if a pretty quick pace is in store. Good chance at the top prize.
