(# 6) LOVE ABROAD - Strange run in last, as I thought he was all over the racetrack. Winner of that heat is a quality runner, and this gelding should run better today. Has a superb work since the last race here at Belmont on Sept. 29.

(# 9) Smokin Warrior - Goes first off a five-month layoff for trainer John Destefano. Made two good efforts against winners after breaking his maiden last Feb. Has speed and is working well.

(# 8) Any Which Way - Two strong races against winners after breaking his maiden on July 28 at Saratoga. Has a nice stalking style about 3-5 lengths off the lead and makes a run from there.

(# 4) Motor West - Nice second-place finish at this track, distance, and condition off a year+ layoff. A repeat of that effort, or a move forward would make him tough.
