Top pick: #6 (TONALIST) (6-5) - He's returned from a six month layoff in sharp form. Last year's Belmont Stakes (G1) winner rallied to take the G3 Westchester Stakes going a mile here in his comebacker. Son of 'Tapit' followed that up with a second-place finish in the G1 Metropolitan Mile (G1) June 6. Working fast, trainer Chris Clement removes his blinkers for this rich stakes. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Mylute) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. Once promising 5-year-old looked very sharp when winning over weaker going a mile May 29. It was his first since early last August and first for Pletcher. Working fast and the figure earned last out matched his career best.
3rd pick: #2 (Coach Inge) (4-1) - The second of the Pletcher pair, he's won three of his last four and took the G2 Brooklyn Stakes here going 1 1/2 miles June 6. Four-year-old has progressed rapidly since breaking his maiden last December and his early speed is a big plus.
