Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (LEWIS BAY) (5-2) - Consistent filly has gone 6-3-2-1, all on the dirt. Stalker has been freshened up since May 6 when she finished a solid 3rd in the $1,000,000 Kentucky Oaks (G1) at Churchill Downs. She's run well in both local starts and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Off the Tracks) (3-1) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher, and the pair race uncoupled. Lightly raced, she finished a solid 2nd here going a mile June 11 in the G1 Acorn Stakes. By far a career best, daughter of 'Curlin' is a win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #7 (Lightstream) (5-1) - She's a perfect 3-for-3 , all going seven furlongs. Two of those have come on the dirt while the third was on the grass. Strong finisher looked beaten in her last pair, but dug down and finished like a champ. Working fast, she's moving up in class, and is stretching out in distance.
4th pick: #6 (Rachel's Valentina) (2-1) - The second of the Pletcher fillies, she's the well written about daughter of two time champ 'Rachel Alexandra.' She tired last out on May 6 in the Kentucky Oaks (G1), but did not have the best of trips. She had gone 4-2-2-0 prior to that and must be left in the mix, but will be over-bet again.
