2nd pick: #1 (Optimizer) (5-2) - Seems like he's been around forever, but he's only a 4-years-old. His grass record is very good (14-5-3-2), and has been competitive in most of his last 10 starts (all graded stakes). This field didn't draw that deep and this speed/stalker may be the main danger.
3rd pick: #2 (Speaking of Which) (12-1) - Irish import was a winner last out at Monmouth when facing weaker, but has some back class and was a Group 3 winner in his native country. Back in shape, in the Clement barn, and a threat at long odds.
4th pick: #8 (Exclusive Strike) (12-1) - Longshot has won two in a row and is 3-for-5 in the past on this course. He has more positional speed than most and could grab a share at a big price despite a huge leap in class.
