Top pick: #2 (2-Entry of 2-BIG BLUE KITTEN & 2b-REAL SOLUTION & ) (8-5) - Strong finisher is part of a three-horse entry from the Ramsey juggernaut, and two of those have a legitimate shot. This 5-year-old has gone 6-4-1-1 this year and last out he won the G1 "Sword Dancer" at Saratoga. "Real Solution" won the "Arlington Million" (G1) last out on a disqualification and lightly-raced colt is a win candidate this afternoon. "Aaron" is not in the same class as his two entry-mates, but is in this to insure a fast pace for that fast finishing pair.
2nd pick: #1a (Boisterous) (4-1) - He's lost his last pair as the favorite, but had some traffic issues last out and this is his favorite surface (10-6-0-3). Capable with his best, he's part of an entry with No. 1 "Imagining," and only one will go.
3rd pick: #4 (Slumber) (6-1) - English import kept good company in his native land and has run well in all three starts in this country. He takes a big step up in class after an easy win at Saratoga over weaker on Aug. 15, his first start in a year. Working fast since and Juddmonte runner is a threat with his best.
4th pick: #5 (Twilight Eclipse) (7-2) - Much improved since late March, gelding was only a length back of "Kitten" last out and this stalker has done well at this distance (3-2-1-0) in the past. Don't just dismiss.
