Speed/stalker just failed at Saratoga in the "Sword Dancer" (G1) at this distance Aug. 17 and his inside post and speed/stalking style gives him a bit of an edge. The top choice, but make sure you reverse your exactas.
2nd pick: #1 (Big Blue Kitten) (5-2) - Very strong finisher is a multiple G1 winner and has returned in top form after coming off a nine-month layoff Aug. 2. He missed by a "nose" in the 2013 edition of this stakes and veteran Ramsey home bred is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Imagining) (3-1) - Since the spring of 2013 this Phipp's home bred has gone 10-5-2-0 and last out at Saratoga he came up a "head" shy in the "Sword Dancer." Stalker loves it here 9-5-1-0 and enters off a career best "figure". Win threat.
4th pick: #5 (Main Sequence) (2-1) - English import is the "morning line" favorite and has narrowly defeated "Twilight Eclipse" in both North American starts. He kept top company overseas and must be left in the mix.
