Top pick: #2 (DOMINUS) - I was very impressed by this colt when he broke his maiden at Santa Anita in late March and he followed that up with a near miss in the Derby Trial (G3) two months later at Churchill Downs. Training fast for this, he faces a tiugh group and gives away some experience, but this son of "Smart Strike" will win a big race soon. Can pull a mild upset in a very strong edition of this once important stakes.
2nd pick: #7 (Adios Charlie) - The probable favorite has been sharp in all four of his starts and won the G2 Jerome S. at Aqueduct earlier this year over a strong field. Colt by "Indian Charlie" jus missed in the G2 Peter Pan on this course May 14th and is working fast for this. Almost put him on top.
3rd pick: #6 (Cool Blue Red Hot) - Deep closer is another who'll win something big sooner rather than later has plenty of talent, is in a great small barn (Angel Penna Jr.) and is working fast for this. Improving and a stretch threat.
