Top pick: #3 (CORFU) (3-1) - Speedy colt is one of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher, and the pair race uncoupled. Son of "Malibu Moon" won his first pair, but tired badly last out at Saratoga on a deep & muddy surface in the "Hopeful" stakes (G1). Working fast for this and thinks he'll be tough to catch on the front-end.
2nd pick: #2 (Sound of Freedom) (5-1) - The second of the Pletcher pair, he's been very sharp in both starts, and was a convincing maiden winner at this distance racing at the "Spa" on Sept. 2nd. Sold for $365K this past March, son of "War Front" is working very fast for this attempt.
3rd pick: #4 (Financial Mogul) (6-1) - Colt by "Street Boss" was reported to have talent before his debut, but tired that day while racing wide. He came right back to get his maiden win at Saratoga on Aug. 31st, and did so with ease. A bullet five furlong work at Aqu six days ago suggests he'll run well again.
