Top pick: #6 (DENOMINATION) - She comes back today off a 4 1/2 month layoff and when last raced mare was winning 3-of-5 on the grass, including a pair of stakes, one at Tampa and the other at Monmouth, both G3 contests. Mid-pack type likes this distance (6-2-2-1), is training fine, and trainer Chris Clement wins at a 19% rtae off of long breaks. Gets the call in a very competitive edition of this contest.
2nd pick: #7 (Unbridled Humor) - The probable favorite is 5-for-6 overall and in her one loss she tired late after setting the pace until the top of the stretch at Saratoga in the Diana (G1). Grey filly by "Distorted Humor" went wire-to-wire here in the G3 Noble Damsel last out on this surface and she'll be a handful in this spot. I almost out her on top.
3rd pick: #4 (Thai Haku) - She rallied strongly to finish second last out to "Humor" here on Sept. 18 and that was her first on this side of the Atlantic. Steady filly has a pair of fine works since that effort and is a threat this afternoon.
