2nd pick: #3 (Colfear) (7-2) - Colt overcame a tough outside post to finish third of 10, beaten two lengths when debuting at this distance Aug 20 at Monmouth Park. Trainer Rudy Rodriguez (21% second time out) has worked him four times since and drops him down in class.
3rd pick: #6 (Hotfoot) (6-1) - He raced evenly here sprinting on the grass facing tougher Sept. 16. Gelding had some serious traffic issues at the break and trainer Gary Contessa brings him back in two-weeks. He drops him down in class, stretches him out in distance, and has Javier Castellano aboard.
4th pick: #1 (Put the Boss Back) (12-1) - Speedy colt draws an inside post for the third straight time. Home bred has tired badly in his first pair facing tougher and is working fast while dropping in class. Dangerous at a big price.
