2nd pick: #2 (More Than a Legend) (5-1) - She finished fourth at this distance facing tougher Aug. 30 at Saratoga. $150K daughter of 'More Than Ready' is dropping down to this $40K tag for the first time and is serious factor today.
3rd pick: #1 (French Dressing) (15-1) - One of two entered by Leah Gyarmati, mare has been racing evenly in most of her starts. Last out at Saratoga she was only beaten 2.5 lengths at this level July 21 and longshot draws a ground saving post. Look for her to be competitive at a big price.
4th pick: #12 (Final Flurry) (5-1) - Filly rallied from far back to miss by a 1/2 length at this tag and trip at Saratoga Aug. 28. She was racing first off a Gary Gullo claim and hasn't finished worse that fourth in five starts on the grass.
5th pick: #5 (Star Maven) (7-2) - The second of the Gyarmati trained pair, she's taking the big drop into claimers for the first time. The presence of Javier Castellano suggests that the barn likes this one's chances.
