Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (SAUVIGNON) (3-1) - Stalker has been competitive in four straight starts facing tougher. Freshened up since Sept 6, trainer Tom Morley drops her into a claimer for the first time. Home bred can take this if she can avoid a wide trip.
nd pick: #8 (Sugar Mags) (7-2) - Strong finisher has rallied to finish second in two straight at this level going a bit longer. Much improved of late, grey filly is a win candidate in this afternoon's finale.
rd pick: #3 (Fredaq) (6-1) - She has more speed than most entered and her connections are dropping her into a claimer for the first time. Competitive on the grass facing tougher in the past, she's a major threat with her best.
th pick: #1 (Queen of the Cup) (6-1) - Very lightly-raced, daughter of 'Street Boss' has been on the sidelines since March 1. She tired that day after chasing the pace facing tougher and was claimed for $75,000. Training nicely at Fair Hill for her return she runs well under the claimed price.
th pick: #7 (Weekend Hottie) (10-1) - Freshened up since late August at Saratoga, she ran fourth that day at this level. Filly has had legitimate traffic excuses in her last pair and is a stretch threat with a clean trip.
