2nd pick: #4 (Summer Sweet) (7-2) - Well backed in a pair of grass sprints during the summer, $550K daughter of 'More Than Ready' showed some speed in each while finishing evenly. Trainer Chris Clement switches her to the dirt and has Irad Ortiz Jr. aboard for the first time.
3rd pick: #10 (Beyond Discreet) (8-1) - Bred for speed, filly by 'Discreetly Mine' debuts off of a steady work tab. She worked a nice half-mile from the gate Oct 8 and could factor at long odds if ready.
4th pick: #7 (Seattle Ice Queen) (15-1) - Longshot has good early speed and has had legitimate excuses in two of her three starts. Think she can be involved from gate-to-wire at a big price.
