Top pick: #6 (MORAVITZ) (3-1) - He may have been "best" when beaten a 1/2 lenght here at this tag going 8.5 furlongs a week ago. That was a career best and the Dave Jacobson barn brings him back quickly and shortens him up in distance. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #3 (Metro) (2-1) - The probable favorite, lightly raced gelding finished second here at this tag going longer on Sept. 27. That field was better than this and 3-year-old is an obvious win candidate.
rd pick: #8 (My Italian Ices) (8-1) - Very lightly-raced colt by "Flower Alley" has sharp early speed and will be moving to the grass for the first time. In a very good barn (John Servis) and 3-year-old must be left in the mix.
th pick: #9 (Muscles Marinara) (8-1) - Freshened-up since late June, colt runs first off a Karl Grusmark claim and has been prepared for his return at Finger Lakes. No-speed type is a late threat, especially if the pace is fast and/or contested.
th pick: #2 (Fiddlers Tango) (20-1) - Longshot comes off a good local effort when he finished 5th of 11, beaten 6 lengths when racing here at this tag going 6 furlongs on Sept. 25. Can impact at a big price.
