Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #10 (COMPLICATED) (3-1) - Phipps' home bred has been freshened up since March 24 at Gulfstream Park. Daughter of 'Blame' was away slowly that day in a five-furlong grass sprint and made up good ground during the final 1/4 mile. She's much better suited for today's six-furlong trip and draws a nice outside post.
nd pick: #8 (Akron Gold) (5-1) - Home bred by 'Medaglia d'Oro' tired last out racing on a muddy surface in a contest that was switched 'off the turf.' She was sharp in all previous efforts on the grass and is a win candidate this afternoon.
rd pick: #1 (Tapany) (8-1) - One of two making their debuts, this home bred by 'Tapit' has some impressive works showing and is in a solid first out barn (Ralph Nicks, 21%). She draws a tough inside post and must break running.
th pick: #5 (Lady Soul) (4-1) - Lightly raced and quick from the gate, filly has tired in both starts racing on the dirt. Trainer Todd Pletcher switches her to the turf, and daughter of 'Speightstown' is bred to handle the grass. It's a plus that John Velazquez stays interested.
th pick: #2 (Deltalina) (5-1) - She's been away since Oct. 31st when she rallied to finish 2nd here on this course at this level and distance. Working fast for her return, she must be left in the same race exotic bets mix.
