Top pick: #3 (HUSHHUSHMUSHMUSH) (7-2) - Long time maiden has disappointed a number of times as the favorite, but has been competitive facing tougher fields than this. Last out April 15th at Aqueduct, he rallied to finish second at this level going 8.5-furlongs. Given five weeks off by trainer Rudy Rodriguez, he shortens him up in distance for this attempt. Can take this from 'off the pace' with a clean trip.

2nd pick: #9 (Dr. K'eogh) (4-1) - He tired badly after pressing the pace facing tougher at Aqueduct April 25th. It was his first start since early Nov. and he had a difficult outside post. Trainer Tom Morley shortens him up in distance and is dropping him into a claimer for the first time. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (Starago) (6-1) - He has some early speed and two back he held gamely to finish second at this level going 8.5-furlongs at Aqueduct. He tired here in a follow up race May 6th but was forced to set fast fractions that day going a mile. He should be involved every step against this group.

4th pick: #12 (Gym Too) (20-1) - Gelding tired badly when debuting in a dirt sprint facing tougher at Aqueduct April 4th. Trainer Joe Orseno moves him to the turf, stretches him out just a bit, and adds both blinkers and Lasix. Three-year-old is bred to enjoy grass racing.
