Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (SPECIAL RISK) (7-5) - The probable favorite, filly moves back in with maidens following a pair of back-to-back second place finishes facing winners. One-run type is from the barn of Rudy Rodriguez and he had her breeze a bullet three furlongs May 16. Looks all set.
2nd pick: #4 (Miko) (5-1) - Lightly-raced filly has only made one start and that came here on the grass Oct 30. She was never involved that afternoon while extremely wide and trainer Chris Clement (8-for-24, 33%) at this meet makes some changes with her. Barn drops her down, switches her to the dirt, and shortens her up in distance. Clement has won with an amazing 10-of-19 (53%) with this maiden drop and Jose Ortiz, who rode her last Oct is back on the re-ride.
3rd pick: #9 (Murrell's Belle) (8-1) - On the sidelines since early August at Saratoga, she showed early speed in both starts last summer. Several of her works on view are on the quick side, including a sharp half-mile breeze here March 25.
4th pick: #3 (Ouro Verde) (4-1) - Filly has started four times and has been competitive in both starts at this level. Her lack of speed is a concern, so unless the pace is fast and/or contested, a minor award may be her ceiling.
