Top pick: #11 (GRATITUDE) (3-1) - Darley home-bred has fine early speed and has been working fast for her first start since tiring at Gulfstream on March 15 going 7.5-furlongs. Daughter of "Elusive Quality" shortens up in distance and draws a nice outside post on this course. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #1 (Benny's Bullet) (6-1) - Speedy filly hasn't been seen since finishing second in back-to-back starts here last October racing at this level and distance. Training steadily for her return, including a pair of sharp half-mile drills in April, and daughter of "Benny the Bull" is a win candidate if ready.
rd pick: #12 (Street Trick) (9-2) - Daughter of "Street Sense" ships up from Gulfstream where she raced evenly in a pair going longer. She was competitive in a pair here on this course a year ago and must be left in the mix.
th pick: #6 (D'Kennesaw Cat) (12-1) - She has a bit of early speed and will be trying the grass for the first time. Filly has finished second in two straight on the dirt and runs off a seven week freshening. In a winning barn (Jay Servis), and can factor at a big price.
th pick: #2 (Roundnroundwego) (15-1) - $130K daughter of "Elusive Quality" improved noticeably when switched to the turf in her second start, and a trio of solid works since arriving from Gulfstream. May out-run anticipated long odds.
