Premium Pick

Top pick: #10 (FOXHALL DRIVE) (4-1) - He was competitive in a pair of turf starts in the latter part of last year facing tougher. Following a very poor dirt outing Jan 19, trainer Dom Schettino has had him on the sidelines awaiting the return to grass racing. Working steadily, he drops him in class and gelding meets a pretty weak looking group. Can take this if ready.

2nd pick: #2 (My Friend Keith) (5-2) - Away since late August, he returns a new gelding and is dropping into the claiming ranks for the first time. Four-year-old by 'Rock Hard Ten' is training steadily for trainer Bill Mott and has finished second in one of three previous grass starts.

3rd pick: #4 (Pioneer of Wifi) (10-1) - He raced evenly while never involved when debuting in a dirt mile at Aqueduct April 1. Another new gelding, trainer Mike Dilger drops him in class, adds Lasix, and switches him to the turf. Live longshot.

4th pick: #6 (Qusaichi) (5-1) - One of two making their debuts, he's training fine and had a solid half-mile gate breeze here April 18th. Trainer Mike Maker wins at a 25% rate first out and is at a solid 21% clip with first-time-starters traveling a mile or better.

5th pick: #7 (Worbothor) (15-1) - Longshot has been competitive several times on the dirt and has early speed. He's been bet in every start, so there still may be talent that hasn't shown itself yet.
