Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (THIRST FOR GLORY) (6-1) - Price play has improved a ton over the past several months. He was bred to be a good horse, but like most by 'Lemon Drop Kid' he's taken some time to be at his best. Broman home bred has a stalking style and enters off a good looking win going a mile at Aqueduct April 1. He's been working well since and has a solid shot despite moving up in class.
2nd pick: #6 (Cards of Stone) (2-1) - Lightly-raced and speedy, he ships back from Keeneland where he tired after chasing a quick pace in the Blue Grass Stakes (G1) April 9. He was a very impressive winner on Aqueduct's inner surface facing weaker March 4 and that came on a track that had some moisture in it. Trainer Todd Pletcher has worked him twice 3-year-old returned from Kentucky and gelding is a serious win threat.
3rd pick: #7 (Beyond the Green) (6-1) - I liked him last out but he took some time to reach his best stride and could only manage to finish third, going seven furlongs at this level April 16 at Aqueduct. He's back in shape following an eight month layoff and is a threat at this longer distance.
4th pick: #2 (Force) (3-1) - On the sidelines since Oct 11, he raced evenly here at this level going a mile. He did not break sharply that afternoon, but had just missed at this distance and condition in his previous start Sept 17. A threat if ready.
