It was a career best overall and was her first ever on the grass. The top pick, but make sure you box your exactas as she's a bit vulnerable from her outside post.
2nd pick: #6 (Sophia's Choice) (5-1) - Filly rallied to finish second sprinting on the Gulfstream grass for a $20K tag March 29. Good effort came off 10 month layoff and she's doubling up in price and stretching out in distance. She's been competitive here facing tougher in the past and is capable at this trip. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #10 (Thin Dress) (4-1) - Very lightly-raced, 4-year-old hasn't raced since late July at Saratoga. She missed by less than a length here at this tag and trip last June and is a major factor if ready off the long absence.
4th pick: #7 (Pana Elianne) (3-1) - She raced both wide and evenly when debuting facing 'open' special weights Feb. 19 at Gulfstream Trainer George drops her in class and has her in with fellow New York breds.
5th pick: #4 (Pescara) (8-1) - She was only a 'neck' in back of 'Eighth Commandment' last out in her first ever on the grass. However, she has no early speed and will need both some pace help and a clean trip in this large field.
