Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (LION IN WAIT) (3-1) - Lightly-raced filly has finished second in two straight at this tag and trip. Beaten a 'neck' here June 4, trainer Tom Morley has worked her twice since and has Javier Castellano aboard for the first time.
2nd pick: #9 (Rain in Spain) (4-1) - She seemed a bit 'short' here when finishing a close up third at this tag and distance June 4. It was her first race in almost seven months and she most likely needed the start. Four-year-old draws a better post and is dangerous in this spot.
3rd pick: #3 (Final Flurry) (7-2) - Filly has some early speed and has been freshened up since May 14. Three-year-old finished a pace-setting second that day in a contest at this level that was switched to the main track. Competitive in all three grass races and you get a solid trainer in Linda Rice, and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. for a combination that is 38% when teamed up.
4th pick: #11 (Brainchild) (10-1) - Longshot has been on the sidelines since Nov. 16. Maryland based filly was competitive in all three grass starts at Laurel last year and is from a barn (Niall Seville) that wins several races each year on the NYRA circuit.
