Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (LULU'S BLUES) (6-1) - Price play is racing second back from a half-year's absence. She tired here facing tougher at this distance May 30 in a race that was switched off the turf and run on a sloppy main track. I don't believe that she cared for the footing but it should serve to advance her conditioning. Back on the grass, she's dropping in class and has Javier Castellano aboard.
2nd pick: #11 (Bea Bea) (8-1) - Stalker is racing third back of a five month break and is dropping in class and stretching out a furlong. She finished an even fourth here when facing tougher May 21 and can factor at a big price.
3rd pick: #3 (Sophia's Choice) (7-2) - Experienced sort looked sharp turning for home last out but weakened under pressure to finish third to a long gone wire-to-wire winner. It was her second back from a 5.5 month break and first at this $40K claiming price. She's shortening up in distance and both blinkers and John Velazquez are added.
4th pick: #2 (Subtle Lady) (3-1) - Away since early November, filly is racing first off a private trainer change to Linda Rice (32% with new arrivals). Stretch runner missed by a 1/2 length facing tougher going farther at Aqueduct on the grass in her last before the layoff. Can factor if ready, but is no bargain at a short price.
5th pick: #5 (Young Anna Lee) (10-1) - The main speed, she's dropping in class and racing on the grass for the first time. Trainer Joe Sharp is adding blinkers and this longshot will take them as far as she can.
