Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (HIDDEN BAMBOO) (8-5) - Lightly raced 3yo missed by a 'nose' here at this tag and trip May 16. Doubled up to $40,000 last out, he lost all chance when he stumbled badly at the break. Down in class and on a 15 day turnaround, he'll be tough to beat with a trouble free beginning.
2nd pick: #5 (Gio Lucky) (3-1) - His form has regressed since switching barns following a claim in late March. Colt has lost ground during the stretch run in all three starts since then, but two of those came against tougher. In this weak field, son of 'Gio Ponti' must be considered dangerous.
3rd pick: #9 (El Cucuy) (9-2) - Debuting son of 'Ghostzapper' ships from Saratoga where he's breezed five times on the 'Oklahoma' training track since May 9. Home bred worked a bullet five furlongs May 24 and need not be anything special to factor first out against this group.
4th pick: #6 (Bartlett's Mark) (8-1) - He has early speed and enters of a distant 2nd place finish at this tag going seven furlongs on a sloppy surface June. It was his second back from almost a 7.5-month layoff, and he must be left in the mix today.
