2nd pick: #2 (Stardom) (2-1) - The probable favorite, he returns off a 13 1/2 month layoff. Gelding ran third here when last in action, and it came facing tougher at this 6-furlong distance. A big threat and an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #12 (Bytemark) (15-1) - 3yo ran evenly in a dirt debut here May 1, then lost his rider 3-weeks later when he 'clipped heels' with another runner soon after the break. He's worked fast since and is another racing on the grass for the first time.
4th pick: #7 (Polar Axis) (20-1) - Longshot has had legitimate excuses in two of three on the dirt. In his only 'trouble free' race, he showed good early speed before weakening.
5th pick: #6 (Meetinghouse Road) (20-1) - He has a bit of early speed and is cutting back in distance while moving off the rail. May contend at a huge price.
