Top pick: #4 (SCANDALO) (5-2) - Gelding finished a distant 2nd here last out racing for a $25K tag in a contest that was switched to the main track. Fits, has the best grass form, is in a top barn (Mike Maker) and Ramsey owned 3-year-old can take this if race stays on the turf.
nd pick: #9 (U Whippersnapper) (6-1) - Price play races third off a 2 1/2 month break and last out had no chance in a "switched" contest when he was bounced around at the break. 4-year-old has some finishing kick and can impact if this stays on the grass.
rd pick: #1 (Imperial Bluegrazz) (3-1) - Lightly-raced 3-year-old ships up from Philly Park and will dropping down to a new low and trying the grass for the first time. Working well for a top barn (Tony Dutrow), and this gelding is bred to handle the new surface.
th pick: #5 (Restore the Shore) (5-1) - He raced evenly to finish 4th of 10, beaten 4 lengths when debuting on the Keeneland "poly" on April 26th. Working fine, is in a solid second-out barn (J.P. Terranova 18%), and most all of the runners by "Lemon Drop Kid" can handle the turf.
th pick: #11 (Cepheus) (8-1) - The main speed on paper, he draws a nice outside post at this distance and he'll be trying the grass for the first time. He's been competitive in all but one of his five starts and is dangerous if he gets an easy early advantage.
