Top pick: #8 (TULITA) (3-1) - Filly just missed racing at this leval and distance at Aqueduct on April 19th in her first back from an 80 day freshening. Ontario-bred followed that up with an even fourth-place finish here in a switched contest on May 19th. Good barn (Mike Maker) has her sitting on a big effort and she can win this if it stays on the turf.
2nd pick: #9 (Melody Lin) (4-1) - Interesting that filly by "Curlin" was reclaimed by Linda Rice last out after she lost her four starts earlier. Taken back for the same price ($35K), she drops her under that tag and 3-year-old has been competitive in two of her four grass races.
3rd pick: #7 (Bargaining Table) (3-1) - Stretch out sprinter is the main speed and will be going from the dirt back to the grass. In her only previous turf appearance, she set a very fast pace and tired in the final 1/16th to finish fourth, beaten a length. Dangerous rival.
4th pick: #10 (Midnightinpositano) (15-1) - She runs third back off a 2 1/2 month break and has weakened after racing close up in both return starts here on the grass. Can factor, but needs a patient ride.
