Top pick: #6 (RIDE A SONG) (6-1) - Gelding raced evenly before tiring slightly when debuting here at this level and distance on the dirt June 15th. He's worked since and trainer Tom Bush switches him to the turf and drops him into a claimer. He's won with five of his last 14 with this particular drop and it's nice to see Edgar Prado back on the re-ride. Price play.
2nd pick: #2 (All Alex) (5-2) - Nicely bred colt will be dropping into a claimer for the first time and cutting back from 10 furlongs to 6. Son of "War Front" has raced both wide and evenly in his last pair facing much tougher and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Dendrite) (5-1) - Gelding has been competitive a number of times at this tag on this surface and last out was compromised by a tough outside post (12th of 12). One-run type draws much better today and is a threat down the stretch.
4th pick: #4 (Ballybrit) - He's improved dramatically since switching to the grass and will be dropping from state-bred special weights to face $25K "open" maiden claimers. Fits and must be left in the mix.
