Top pick: #6 (ROMANSH) (3-1) - Colt enters off a big effort when he finished a close up third to the powerful "Palace Malice" in the G1 Metropolitan Hdcp. on the Belmont Stakes undercard June th7. Lightly-raced 4-year-old has worked fast since and his stalking style fits the race.
2nd pick: #5 (Last Gunfighter) (7-2) - Hard hitting 5-year-old won a $200K stakes at Penn National on May 31st when making his seasonal debut. It pushed him over the $1M mark in earnings and ran his record to 16-9-3-2 overall. He's won here in the past and is a strong factor this afternoon.
3rd pick: #1 (Micromanage) (9-2) - He was beaten in the last two strides here on June 7th in the G2 "Brooklyn" Hdcp. and has put together three excellent efforts in a row. Stalker has the rail and that a big advantage at this distance as the race starts mid-way on the clubhouse turn. Colt should be involved from gate-to-wire.
4th pick: #8 (Stormin Monarcho) (12-1) - In career best form, speed/stalker takes an enormous jump up in class for this attempt. He's won two in a row at Delaware Park and is in the barn of Dave Jacobson.
5th pick: #11 (Moreno) (8-1) - Speedy gelding draws a tough outside post and will be sent hard at the break. Blinkers go on and this 4-year-old won the G2 "Dwyer" stakes here a year ago. Working fast and he'll take them as far as he can.
